1. I know that dive bar scent and still cringe when I smell it

I haven't been to such a bar for some time, or a strip club for that matter, but I still get assaulted by that smell in some public restrooms, even at "family friendly" bar and grills. I used to think, partly in jest, that the strong-smelling deodorizers were so strong that the fumes alone could kill most forms of STDs and other infectious bacteria and viruses. Smelling them almost makes me gag, but does evoke fond memories of my youthful carousing.
