11. I had a friend who disappeared.

Yesterday

She moved to another state and I visited her after she went out there. We lost touch after a few years. About a year ago I googled her and found out she had disappeared without a trace in the late nineties. Her car and purse were found at her place of work. Mostly everyone thought a former boyfriend had killed her. Then, a year or two ago they were digging up the boyfriend's terrace looking for her remains - but they didn't find her.

Even though we had been out of touch, I feel really sad that this happened to her.
