17. intellectual laziness

I am by no means a Conservative and it's quite possible I am further to the left than even many here might find comfortable but one comment just sticks like a thorn.

Look I dislike the Reagan circle-jerking by Republicans as much as the next leftie but that's just down right intellectual laziness right there. Just writing off the the opposition as stupid doesn't help your case. If the left is supposed to be about science and intelligence than it's probably best if we don't use many of the same logical fallacies that they use.
