This is 'bottom-up' socialism in opposition to capitalist models of business. We could do this - and why would we not?

So many workers believe their employer values them, respects their input and productivity, their ideas and engagement in the success of the enterprise. They believe they are appreciated and rewarded. They believe they will receive the fruits of their labor.

Never fully understanding they are really just another commodity, another customer, another tool of the capitalist system. Only valued based on profitability. Bought and paid for to serve the bosses. Just until obsolescence, tossed into the rubbish heap of life. Maybe you made enough to survive, maybe you didn't. But you don't matter anymore.

"Economic Democracy" is purely the workers owning the means of production. The alpha and omega!
