12. You might have to wait until next year for blooms

My hellebores took a year or so to really settle in. Mine are a variety called Pink Frost, which bud early but bloom late, if that makes sense. They’re a fairly low growing variety and spread slowly to make a lovely ground cover in a lightly shaded area.
