My new glass filter arrived today. This is one of a few shots I took this afternoon. I'm ready for the April 8 solar eclipse!


This shot was taken in 2017 using a filter I made from a cardboard tube and the filter from a pair of eclipse glasses. I eventually used the filter to take shots of the 2017 total solar eclipse from a site near the NorthCarolina/Tennessee border.
