National Democrats take aim at Iowa's caucuses as discussions begin over 2024 calendar

1. Caucuses have no place in the 21st century.

They are ridiculous. Forcing people out at night while excluding shift workers, single parents, the elderly, the disabled, people without transportation, along with students and many others, is a nonsensical way to run anything.

Maybe it once worked in small towns where everyone got together in the barn down the road. But now there are populated cities where hundreds upon hundreds of people are crammed into high school gyms where chaos ensues.

Iowa needs to switch to a primary on a day along with New Hampshire and some other early states.
