Crosses burned in Dubuque [View all]

Now we got this shit going on again up here.

The Dubuque police department is investigating an incident they believe is a hate crime.

At approximately 4:41 am Wednesday morning the Dubuque 911 center received a call of something burning at 22nd and Washington streets. Police responded, but nothing was located at that time.

Police returned to the same general area later that same morning around 9:30 am to find burned items and two items that appeared to be crosses damaged by fire.

Police are investigating the incident under the premise these are a violation of individual rights, commonly referred to as a hate crime.

The Feds have been informed as well.

Fucking hell. I hope they catch the responsible parties and said parties go to jail for a very, very long time.
