Ugh

The GOP is blasting Democratic candidate Fred Hubbell for closing Younkers stores nearly 30 years ago.

The Republican Party is now launching its attack on billboards across the state.

This billboard just up on Court Avenue says Fred Hubbell cut workers' paychecks and quotes him as saying, "They should be happy they still have jobs."

"As a seventh-generation rural Iowa, I got to tell you I don't think he gives a damn about rural Iowa," said Jeff Kaufnann, chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa.

Like Kaufnann and his ilk give a fuck about rural Iowa, or anywhere else in Iowa for that matter?
