Privatized Medicaid savings again in dispute with DHS chart showing fast-rising costs

1. Until we drastically change our healthcare system, costs will continue to escalate

whether managed by private companies or directly by the government.

Nowadays, most states wouldn’t even attempt to appropriate the up front costs to develop systems, pay claims, enroll providers and beneficiaries, hire staff, and much more, much less the annual costs.

It is really sad we didn’t adopt all or some of Clinton’s plan in the early 1990s, or sooner.
