Kris Kobach is suing Joe Biden for Texas law enforcement officers. He's running for Kansas AG at the same time.Kris Kobach is representing a group of Texas law enforcement officers suing President Joe Biden's administration over their immigration policies, according to a federal lawsuit filed Thursday.
The move comes just two months after Kobach launched a bid for Kansas attorney general, the latest campaign for the firebrand former secretary of state.
A news release announcing the legal challenge lists Kobach as the general counsel for the Alliance for Free Citizens, whose website describes the group as a nonprofit dedicated to "individual liberties, communities, families, and shared patriotic values."
Internal Revenue Service records don't list the group as being registered as a 501(c)(4) entity as of yet.
