4. I'm not sure exactly when this happened, but I passed by twice last night

It's right on the main road that passes through the middle of town, lots of traffic and I didn't take a look at their crowded parking lot since there was rain and fog and visibility wasn't the best. Little did I know when I arrived at the meeting I was headed to up north and they were all talking about it - though I had to straighten one of them out that this hadn't happened before recently - that was in Virginia...

But it is scary as hell that this could happen in my neck-of-the-woods. The tourists are gone, the "season" is over, you'd think things would have quieted down by now. And the scuttlebutt was that the fight was between locals, nothing political about it, but frightening nonetheless - especially since the local paper has yet to publish an update.

And yes, it was way too close. Thanks for your concern, my friend. We never imagine that this kind of thing could happen here!
