When he realized how dangerous it was outside for people who got stranded on foot or in their cars, he decided that his barber shop could be a shelter because it was roomy and warm. So he posted on social media that people could come into his shop for shelter.

They got food from his vending machines and then from a nearby store that was open. He gave people some money to buy it.

A few decided to get hair cuts while the were there.
