NC is top state for business 2nd year in a row [View all]

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/11/north-carolina-is-top-state-for-business-led-by-workforce-economy-.html

I live in Durham, and the explosion of growth in housing is quite evident in the Triangle area. The Triangle area is also one of the most politically liberal areas of the state. It encourages me to think Dems can take control of the State away from the Repubs which took over after the 2010 election. More educated people tend to be more liberal https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2016/04/26/a-wider-ideological-gap-between-more-and-less-educated-adults/, and the appeal of a more highly educated work force to business should yield a change in political dynamics if Dems could just motivate people to get out and VOTE.
