I've yet to see a republican being shy about pleasing the NRA, let alone one seeking a presidential nomination. Kasich also initiated Issue 1 coming up on Tuesday's ballot to end republican gerrymandering in the state. Ohio's house majority was furious with him.

He also caught heat for accepting Obamacare's Medicare expansion. He flatly stated that it was just common sense. Of course this was all during his final term, but he's not acting like someone planning a run on the GOP ticket. He may have a slightly different plan to get into the WH.

He's still vehemently anti abortion though.
