I may be seeing everything through recent developments in Florida, but here billionaire corporate Christofascist donors ultimately want to eliminate PUBLIC schools and privatize education so that public tax dollars flow to them, so they can use it to open substandard charter schools, control curriculum, and buy compliant state politicians to further their policies.

Teacher qualifications mean nothing to them, just money and power. They'll use our money to pay for fancy expensive private schools for their kids. Getting their candidates into state power is the first step.
