gross. They are only really good when freshly made.

And who thought of chocolate covered sunflower seeds? Being born and raised in Kansas, I've had plenty of chocolate covered "things" and I have had bags of sunflower seeds, but I've never thought about combining the two.

Also, while growing up in the KC suburbs (on the Kansas) side, I was always a Chiefs fan... BUT I always (even in the 1960s) thought the team name was racist... and the horse "war paint" was over the top... and when they adopted the "tomahawk chop" from the Atlanta Braves that was really ugly.... and, last, I never ever associated the Chiefs as being a Kansas team. They are a KCMO team, they play in Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. Just like St. Louis is not in Illinois, Kansas City is (mostly) not in Kansas. Only some of the nicer suburbs are in Kansas. And some of the not so nicer suburbs.

Why Kansas? Gore1FL Feb 2023 #10
Because Kansas doesn't have an NFL team, so they support KC Chiefs. Not unusual especially hlthe2b Feb 2023 #14
I never recall it happening before. nt Gore1FL Feb 2023 #17
Huh? you know no one whose favored team is not in-state? That's pretty wild. hlthe2b Feb 2023 #18
That has very little to do with nearby governors making bets, though. Gore1FL Feb 2023 #19
I told you why. Kansas City is partially in Kansas and that part is only 3 miles away from the MO hlthe2b Feb 2023 #20
