4. In my opinion, I think most people who vote know very little about the person they are voting for.

The primary factor is really - do I vote R or D? Next is name recognition - do you recognize the name?

That is why incumbents have a great likelihood of getting re-elected. For Statewide general elections it is not as difficult as local or district candidates mainly because they are more well known because of the media.

Politics are a "good ole boy" club and the party infrastructure has a big influence on not only who wins but who runs to begin with. It is about power, money, and influence.

Paxton has been a POS for a long time and his future success will be largely determined by the POWER BROKERS and BIG DONORS in Texas. They get to decide who rules - if voting really mattered they would make it illegal.
