but I believe that Texas doesn't have a state income tax. Of course property owners will have to pay the brunt of the taxes.

I worked for a while in Texas 30 years ago and the people there told me they don't repave secondary roads they just let them turn into gravel roads.

What does Washington have to do with Texas not having an income tax?
