2. The internet in general is a place where people can express their inner darkest impulses

without the usual fear of reprisal or social rejection. Put a bunch of Republicans in a single chat group, where they are all thinking it's a safe space and talking to like-minded individuals, and whoa Nellie! Look out!

I mean, after everything we've seen with the last two Republican administrations, would anybody even still be a Republican if they didn't harbor some sort of racist, anti-social, or violent impulses and beliefs? So, put a bunch of young Republicans in a chat room, and it's a shark-feeding frenzy of malignancy.
