1. Oh how I remember that. People in Louisa were effected for years.

They had teams of counselors there for a good long time.
I had no idea that the Washington Monument had no interior structure to it.

I was sitting at my desk and I felt what I thought was air rushing across the floor. I thought it was the AC or something. Then I realized it was an earthquake.

The Richter scale is designed for the west coast. There’s a layer of sand in the west between the layers of the ground. The east coast is basically one big set rocks to there’s nothing to absorb some of the energy. 5.8 here is very strong.
