He is implying that, since God controls the weather, any attempt to reverse the effects of climate change is tantamount to blasphemy.
He might have a harder time explaining why a benevolent God would wreak such deadly havoc on the planet where his supposedly beloved children live.
He might, as the Chrstianists always do, hand wave it as part of "God's beautiful plan"...
