6. I spent some summers at Sproat Lake when I was a kid.

Occasionally, we would go to the far end of the lake and circle the massive plane because it was the only thing of its kind - and massive size - that we had ever seen. That wasn't the only thing that made Sproat Lake magical, either. The scenery was amazing, and it had a noticeable flavour and lifestyle that I loved (although I didn't think of it in those terms way back when), rather like the difference between Miami and The Keys.
