As somebody pointed out on Twitter, if the baseline is the last Euro elections, then Labour defectors to the Brexit Party are already factored in, so the Tories are likely to be the main casualties in seats where the Brexit Party stands anyway.

Now we get the fun of watching Farage et al. picking holes in Johnson's pretty shoddy deal. And maybe even exploding the shameful myth that passing this first milestone means that Brexit's "done" and "over the line".
