Pretty common job for newer migrants and most liked to talk. I figured they’d come to the US mostly for economic opportunity, which certainly plays a part. The most common reason I heard was for a safe place to raise their family. Americans by and large have no idea how good we have it. Plenty wrong here but I generally don’t fear for my life.
