4. Command line DOS style

I didn't do windblows until win98 cause I liked the dos interface of a blank screen and a cursor.
Ubuntu 11.04 user here. 11.10 and unity sucks or better yet UNITY sucks. Especially on a computer, a tablet or smart phone maybe but on a desktop, no way.

Is this going to be an option in ubuntu 12.04?

I guess I could go read the article, thanks.

On edit, I like gnome2 just fine as I autohide my menu and delete the status bar so I have a full screen for DU, by golly
