Are there any printer manufacturers out there that don't force people to buy their toner via firmwar [View all]

Yeah, HP is up to its old tricks again with the firmware and making it impossible to use the printer with anything other than expensive HP toner.

Are there any printer manufacturers out there that don't pull this horseshit? If so I think I'll trade my printer in just to say to HP if you're going to do that I'll go to someone else for a printer.
