1. Sharing power with employees improves behavior on BOTH sides of the relationship.

Managers know they can't get away with any draconian behavior they can dream up.

Employees don't feel like they are powerless and getting screwed every day on the job, and if they do think they are getting screwed, they can go to the union to try to work it out.

It's a win-win for all involved IF labor and management act sincerely to cooperate.
