4. Most people are open to a 15 minute chat about nothing specific

not looking for a job or looking to hire someone, just getting to know each other. This can be an informational interview where you ask about their company or industry or even how they have progressed in their career. People are often not as busy as people assume. They are often more open to talking to someone who doesn't want anything from them.

Some folks are curious about what other options are out there and if others are happy and doing well with their fields and employers.
