train not running? take it off the board. move the next one forward 5 minutes.

(and real time tracking is no longer a technological feat .. providing that information to the public shouldn't be either)

Two major problems: large systems/organizations need to have people that are empowered to make decisions, and adjustments when needed. and 2) CTA doesn't have sufficient staffing - to operate the trains and schedule that are already in place.
