1. Fireworks are stupid and dangerous

Not only do they cause fires, and cause people to get hurt (Darwinism), they terrorize animals (wild and domestic) and people with PTSD from fear and stress. Pets like dogs are especially vulnerable when left outside and escape their yards. Shelters get so many new intakes they have to euthanize older tenants to make room. Even kept inside, some pets are so terrified they are inconsolable. And yes, the debris is toxic litter that pollutes the environment.
