although I'd expect Puting to have sent one of his doubles to greet Modi, Putin is a massive germophobe and he's also a bigot and you just know he'd think anyone from India is filthy and crawling with loathsome diseases.

Modi will be parked at the far end of that 30 foot table if there are any discussions with the real Putin.

Still, it wouldn' t hurt to have Putin's stand-ins hrs de combat for a while.
