of the Soviet Union, Ukraine "inherited" the world's third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons. They agreed to give them up if ruzzia, US and NATO would help defend and assist if Ukraine was attacked...
putin reneged on this agreement and attacked Ukraine.
We are fulfilling our agreement to help and assist Ukraine if it is attacked..
