The fact that many Republicans appreciated the Sanders message should tell the party wonks that much.

For years, polls on single issues have all come down solidly on the left/liberal side of things, no matter the party identification or political philosophy claimed by the poll takers. Probably 80% of the Sanders message is mainstream.

This is what the conservatives in the halls of power need to understand. We the people have been bled dry. We've finally noticed and unless they want more Trumps, they're going to have to do something constructive about it. "More of the same" will not sell.

As for the effect on Israel, perhaps they should concentrate on cleaning up their own house first. That goes for Palestinian Arabs, too.
