However, there's a correlation between the oppression of Palestinians and violence against Israel. It would also improve the general stability in the region if the Palestinian refugees had a homeland to go back to. Lebanon is a case in point - would there ever had been a war between Israel and Lebanon if there wouldn't have been any Palestinian refugees in Lebanon?
