Netanyahu has been emboldened by the likes of Trump and Putin, and is showing his true nature.
Just like Trump he's under investigation. But since he is in power, he is able to push his coup more effectively. Seize control of the courts and the investigations end.
We can get a good idea of what Trump would do if he regains power by looking at Israel under Netanyahu.
