Nakba What a horrendous event to even think about.
One thing I am curious about - I often hear that 700,000 people left Palestine due to Jewish militancy, I am not sure of the actual death toll suffered. Do you know what figure as far as fatalities is reliable?
It seems that the Jewish militants were not supposed to enter Palestine until May 1948, but in fact guerrilla military activity began in late 1947... (I am not sure of this, so pls correct me if I am wrong.)
