An unknown Palestinian wrote a letter to Lancet, fabricating a number of Palestinian casualties. Their made up number is more than 10 times higher than the actual, not yet confirmed, reported Palestinian civilian casualties in the Hamas war on Israel.

The Guardian eagerly embraced this false statistic, deploying their Data Analysis editor to vigorously defend its validity and twist herself into a pretzel as she makes a bizarre case for this fantasized figure.

Predictably, the headline prominently features this exaggerated figure, which will undoubtedly fuel the hate march in London tomorrow, inciting further violence.

So who will pay the price for these imaginary non-Jewish children who we are told be killed by the Jewish nation? You guessed it….
