One that has routinely tried to run for office - at both the county and state level. He would believe (or claim?) he could run, win, come out, and change the party. When he wasn't campaigning, he would move the goalposts and twist himself into pretzel logic on how, no, his precious GOP wasn't homophobic.
Well, he endorsed one candidate too many (or maybe the wrong one), and I'd had enough. I held his feet to the fire on it - the candidate, and, hell, the entire party. And finally the truth came out. "I guess my money is more important than my rights."
Well, that's swell. Bigly, even. You value your money (which you got because of your wealthy parents, and you being born in third base thinking you'd hit a triple) so much. You value your rights so little. Fine. Sell your own rights for 30 pieces of silver. But who the hell do you think you are to sell the rights of all other LGBTQ's out?
There was once a point where I respected - even though I disagreed strongly - with the Log Cabins. That was the day respect went up in smoke. Fuck them. They're just as bad as the mainstream POT (Party of TRE45ON), if not worse. At least the POT is honest with their hatred. The Log Cabins pretend to be friends while scheming to sell us out.
Buh-bye, indeed.
