One of them is my cousin, who I'll never visit again. Both he and his partner are so butt-proud of their investment schemes, watch Fox Noise religiously, racist as all hell. I used to visit them in south Texas now and then. After Fox news propped up all their nonsense and greedy slant, they acted like I was an unwelcome vagabond visiting, I cut my Xmas visit short. A few years later I noticed I got de-friended on Facebook from them, along with some other relatives posting racist Obama memes. Right after I asked another cousin to please stop posting those, I got de-friended, then massively attacked, rendering Facebook unusable for me. I de-activated my profile and never went back.
Some other couple who drive their Hummer, were my neighbors at a travel gig in the bay area were equally as pretentious and nasty towards my "working class" status. Although never had much to do with them, they never missed an opportunity to loudly make degrading comments that included my "liberal" beliefs.
All the more reason Fox Noise should be sued out of existence for dividing this nation and families, endangering all our lives with environmentally disastrous rhetoric.
These are the only 2 gay couples I know who are so deluded, have isolated themselves. Sometimes I wonder how they're doing in the pandemic, the Hummer driving couple own a wedding catering business that has likely gone bust in the pandemic.
Yet both these pretentious pairs have chosen their paths, burned their bridges.
It throws me that some of these are my extended family. None of my "branch", who also was long ago derided for the "bad blood" (native american Muskogee tribe) that we're mixed with, partially responsible for my more "working class" status. Yet even had I been born to much money, I could never be like that.
