I visited Amelia’s website and it’s beautifully done. It would have meant the world to me (when I was young) to have access to an affirming resource like this. It’s also a positive response to some very repressive messaging from the right-wing. I’ll be reposting this story within my own network of friends.

By the way, I recommend the graphic novel, “Heartstopper”. I saw it on Amelia’s site and remembered how I read it in one sitting. I’m looking forward to reading a few of her featured books, too.
