I know there are many out there who are supportive, but many simply don't care or aren't really that interested in issues we face. In a microcosm like this, it can be hard to see, but in the wider world, it is very plain. Yes, I see many people who aren't violent homophobes, but too many are attacking us in legal ways, and there are many of us who are having to worry with day-to-day bullshit from doctors, other professionals, and in our daily interactions. It is disheartening. A few years ago, I would have never thought it would be like this.
