barefoot and pregnant....

I could go on and on. Very well stated piece. My frustration level is 11 (on a scale of 1-10).

I have an old friend who is a female, Repub, ultra Catholic, anti-gay, etc. She is aware of my serious health situation and just as serious financial/ACA Health Care situation. She prays for me yada, yada,... even though she knows I am working hard resisting in every way I can and that I am an atheist, pro abortion, open minded liberal and have been since we were kids (I was raised this way and she was raised her family's way). I can NOT even call her to thank he for a "Happy Birthday" message she left on my phone I get so angry. I do not try to "convert" her with logic but she freely relates her beliefs to me over the years. Is it rude to respond with an email so that I do not ruin a 45 year friendship?
