and proven safe and effective.

And hope that the manufacture of such vaccines is very closely monitored.

All it will take is for one company making the vaccine to screw up in some way. Like the Salk vaccine producer in 1955 that let some live virus get into one batch. Gave the kids polio, rather than prevented it.
