I suspect the earliest recipients will be our much valued healthcare workers. This is only right. Many hospitals, certainly research hospitals will have -80C freezers.

I have lived through and was involved with urgent scale up of life saving drugs, in the early days of AIDS. It is not a easy task. There are many things that can impact production.

The good thing is that as this is a vaccine, everyone who is vaccinated will lower the risk of those who have not yet had access to it.
