3. Maybe black doctors are better for women too...

I am a white woman who had gall stones from age 17 till 30 something.

White docs gave me upper and lower GI's, had me swallow cameras, and when I was younger thought I was a drug addict looking for pain pills.

It was my second weekend at the hospital with the excruciating pain, and a black doc decided to give me the same video one gives to pregnant mothers and discovered I had a gallstone,

He did a laproscopy and found my gallbladder was huge, and my gallstone was the size of a ping pong ball, and wanted to actually cut me open to remove, but his techs convinced that he/they could remove through the laproscopy, which he did.

He told me all about it, and I have not had a pain since, and trust me it was often and extremely painful, and I had given up on a diagnosis.

Thank God for black doctors!
