1. I wonder if in the future we shouldn't do a three tier school system

Tier 1: Remote

Tier 2: In class room with a mask requirement

Tier 3: In class with no mask requirement

Teachers bid on whatever tier level they desire and whatever level of risk/reward they are willing to accept. Parents get to decide on one of three tiers. Move teachers around in school systems to accomodate the job bidding process as necessary.

It is not perfect, but then everybody gets what they want.

Also if you are a Tier 3 family, then you go to the back of the line in hospital admittance for Covid related complications and treatments. Same for those who wish to conduct in person worship or other community activities at the height of the pandemic.
