for 15+ years and after I started teaching "nutrition" and daily reviewing every item on the daily lunch school lunch menu they actually said they liked healthy food BETTER. I sent away for 4H Nutrition lessons for teachers (for free too) since nutrition was not in the curriculum. I only let them bring healthy snacks amd I made sure they took salad and fruit and I watched to see if they ate it. Soon their parents were coming to thank me since their own kids were educating them.
