I have to say there is a real reason why so many British procedurals are so memorable and worth the watch. Great acting and character development that makes you care. I really don't think most US equivalent programs do it as well.

I just noted that Nicola Walker has another show in post-production, "Annika" with the following summary:
The sharp, witty and enigmatic DI Annika Strandhed, as she heads up a new specialist Marine Homicide Unit (MHU) that is tasked with investigating the unexplained, brutal, and seemingly unfathomable murders.


Might be another good one for the future.


BTW, I just read that ITV had confirmed that there actually WILL be a season 5 of Unforgotten... So, DI Sunny Khan and colleagues will return.
