34. I think they are doing reconstruction before radiation in my case because

For my case, reconstruction is not implants or making the breast larger.

It is taking out more tissue strategically to balance the tissue that must be taken out already on both sides and removing excess skin and doing a breast lift at the same time.

So it’s not reconstruction in the same sense as a full mastectomy.

It could be better thought of as a breast reduction and lift. So that doesn’t present any impediment to radiation.
